About SAAT Entrance Exam 2025

SAAT 2025: The Siksha 'O' Anushandhan (SOA) conducts the SOA Admission Test, commonly known as SAAT, in multiple phases. The SOA has released the SAAT 2025 Application form on its official website, admission.soa.ac.in.  The important SAAT 2025 Dates will be available soon on the official website at admission.soa.ac.in. The SAAT 2025 is conducted to provide admission to undergraduate programs in Siksha 'O' Anushandhan. Interested candidates must complete the SAAT 2025 Application form before the deadline. All eligible candidates can apply for the SAAT 2025 exam, candidates should check the SAAT 2025 eligibility criteria before filling out the SAAT application form 2025. The SAAT 2025 registration process will contain several stages such as Registration, Filling up the application form, Uploading the Documents, and Paying the Application Fee. SAAT 2025 Dates are yet to be intimated on the official website. Candidates will also have the option to fill out the SAAT exam center 2025 at their convenience. 

Candidates must check the SAAT 2025 syllabus and SAAT 2025 exam pattern to prepare for the SAAT 2025 exam. The SAAT syllabus 2025 will be similar to the NCERT Syllabus of classes XI and XII. How to Apply for SAAT 2025

  • Step-1: Visit the website of SAAT (Link is given above).
  • Step-2: Now provide the details in the application form.
  • Step-3: Candidates must enter the details like name, personal details, education details carefully and submit it.
  • Step-4: Upload the scanned documents as per the given specification.
  • Step-5: Preview the details and click on the submit button.
  • Step-6: At last, take a hardcopy of the application form for further admission procedure.

SAAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to fulfil the given SAAT eligibility criteria 2025 before filling out the application form:

For B.Tech Course:

  • Qualification: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must pass class 12th or equivalent exam with recognized board.
  • Marks: Applicants must score at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates).
  • Subject: Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as a mandatory subject along with on the following subjects   such  as Chemistry/ Computer Science, Electronics, Biology, Agriculture, Business Studies, Biotechnology.

 For M.Tech Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must pass B.Tech. degree or equivalent in the relevant field to apply.
  • Marks: For general category, candidates must obtain at least 60% marks and 50% marks for reserved category   candidates at the qualifying exam.

For MCA Course:

  • Qualification: Applicants must pass BCA/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree or    B.Sc./ B.Com/ BA (with additional course as per the norms of the concerned university) to apply.
  • Marks: To apply for MCA, candidates must obtain at least 60% marks (50% marks in case of reserved    category candidates).
  • Subject: Applicants must have Mathematics as a mandatory subject in class 12th level or at graduation level to apply.

For MBA Course:

  • Qualification: The pass candidates from class 12th or equivalent in any stream will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category   candidates).
  • Appearing: The appearing candidates in the final year of graduation in 2025 will also be able to apply for MBA.

SAAT 2025 Exam Pattern

Following will be the complete information related to SAAT Exam Pattern 2025 below:

  • Mode: The exam will be conducted through online mode only.
  • Duration: 2 hours will be given to solve the paper.
  • Medium: The paper will be available in English language.
  • Type of Questions: The Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) type will be asked in the exam.
  • No. of Questions: Exam will comprises of 120 questions in total.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

SAAT 2025 Eligibility

Prior to the commencement of the online application process, it is necessary to check the eligibility criteria, which is different for each course. Eligibility criteria are primarily the minimum academic threshold set by participating universities for candidates to be able to appear for SAAT 2025 and subsequently gain admission into the desired course. Following are the eligibility criteria for every course-

Course Eligibility
B.Tech Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, as well as one subject out of Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by AICTE
B.Pharm Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 or equivalent examination, with individually clearing English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology
BHMCT Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 examination in any stream, securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% for Schedule Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST)/OBC categories)
B.Sc. in Agriculture Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 examination, with either of the following subject combinations PCM/PCB/PCMB, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for under general and OBC categories, and 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Physically Handicap (PH) categories. Candidate’s age must be between 17 and 23 years.
B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 examination, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST/OBC categories). Candidate must be at least 17 years old.
P.B.B.Sc Nursing Candidate must have cleared GNM examination and registered with concerned State Nursing Council
Five-Year Integrated B.A. LLB. (Hons) and B.B.A. LLB. (Hons) Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline, securing a minimum of with 45% (40% for SC/ST categories). Candidate’s age should be less than 20 years (22 years for SC/ST categories)
BBA Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline
M.Tech Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) B.E./B.Tech/AMIE/MCA/M.Sc. or equivalent course in the stream/discipline for which SAAT 2025 is being given
MCA Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) a three-year bachelor degree in any stream, from any recognized University, securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC categories). Candidate must have studied Mathematics either at 10+2 or +3 level (Business Mathematics will not be considered)
MBA/MHA/MHM/MTTM Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) a three-year bachelor degree in Science, Commerce, Arts, B.E, B.Tech, MBBS, B.Pharm, B.Sc.Agri, BVSC, BHMS, BAMS, BDS, BPT, BHMCT, BBA, BCA or equivalent examination, from any recognized University, securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ ST/OBC categories)
M.Pharm Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) B.Pharm examination, from any recognized University, securing a minimum of 50%. However, GPAT-qualified candidates are not required to give SAAT 2025, but will have to submit application form
M.Sc Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) B.Sc or equivalent course in the stream/discipline for which SAAT 2025 is being given, from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC categories)
M.Sc. in Nursing Candidate must have cleared B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) degree, securing a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized institution, along with a minimum of one year experience in teaching or clinical area subsequent to registration in respective State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
LLM Candidate must have cleared (or appearing) LLB or studied integrated law courses or equivalent thereof, from a recognized University, with atleast 50% aggregate marks

SAAT 2025 Syllabus

There are many courses in SAAT 2025, and there is different syllabus for each course. To prepare for the undergraduate courses, candidates must studies from class 12th standard. For postgraduation, candidates must prepare according to the subject studied in graduation program.

The SAAT 2025 syllabus for some courses is provided below:

For B.Tech./ B.Pharma:

  • Mathematics: Integral Calculus, Relations and Functions, Sets, Coordinate Geometry, e
  • Chemistry: Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Atomic Structure, Co-Ordination Compounds, Hydrocarbons, Hydrogen, Biomolecules,
  • Biology: Plant Cell, Morphology of Angiosperms, Multi Cellularity in Animals, History, Continuity of Plant Life, Animal World, , Types of Respiration, Environmental Biology, e
  • Physics: Rotational Motion, Kinematics, Electromagnetic Waves, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Current Electricity, etc.

Lateral Entry (B.Tech):

SAAT 2025 Admit Card

SAAT 2025 Admit card will be directly sent to the candidate on his/her registered email ID, around a month before the examination date. Candidates will be required to carry the print out of admit card to the examination centre, along with a valid identity proof for the purpose of verification. 

  • Admit Card must be kept into possession until the completion of admission procedure.
  • Conducting authority will issue admit card/hall ticket to only those candidates who meet eligibility criteria and have submitted the application form before the last date of submission
  • Hall ticket will entail the following information:
  1. Name of candidate
  2. Photograph and signature of candidate
  3. Address of candidate
  4. Address of examination centre
  5. Time of examination
  6. List of valid identity proofs
  7. Candidates must carefully go through admit card and any discrepancies must be immediately reported to the Director, Admissions
  8. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without in possession of hall ticket

SAAT 2025 Merit List

The authority will prepare a separate merit list for all the qualifying candidates on the basis of SAAT 2025 result. The individual merit list will be released for every program like B.Tech, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Pharma, MCA, MBA, M.Tech lateral entry into various and other regular programs.

Candidates will have to visit the website to check the merit list. Only appeared candidates will be able to access the merit list through online mode.
