AIIMS PG 2026: Result (Soon), Merit List (Out), Cut Off, Counselling

AIIMS PG 2026 Counselling (Open Round) has been started for MD/ MS. Revised counselling schedule is available now for DM/ M.Ch (Jan session) admissions. AIIMS Merit List has been released of provisional qualified candidates.

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) organises PG medical admissions into MD, MS, DM, MCH & MDS course (6 year & 3 year courses). For admission in these courses in AIIMS, INI CET & INI SS exams are organised. Earlier, AIIMS used to conduct its own entrance test which now has been scrapped & replaced by INI CET & INI SS exams. INI CET (Institutes of National Importance – Combined Entrance Test) is organised for offering admission in MD, MS (6 year PG medical course). Whereas, for 3 year PG medical admissions (DM, MCH & MDS course), INI SS exam is organised.

AIIMS PG 2026 Result

AIIMS PG Result 2026 has been released via online mode. No candidate will receive it via post or any other offline medium. Candidates can check their scores separately for INI CET & INI SS course for both sessions. Students must know that it is mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in counselling session.

Result is published via pdf format. Students have to download it to check their marks & percentile. It consists of all required details such as candidate’s name, roll number, marks scored in each subject, result status & qualifying percentile score.

AIIMS PG 2026 Admit Card

AIIMS PG Admit Card 2026 will be made available on 21st October 2024 via online mode. Hall Ticket is released separately for both INI CET & INI SS. Students must not forget to check all details in the admit card. In case of any mistake found, one must contact authority. It contains all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam time, date, venue & some instructions. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card along with one ID proof at exam hall to avoid any kind of rejection.

AIIMS PG 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following details regarding AIIMS PG 2026 Exam Pattern:

For INI CET:

  • Exam Mode: INI CET exam will be held via online (computer-based) mode.
  • No. of Questions: Question paper will consists of 200 questions in the exam.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the paper.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, -1/3 marks will be deducted.
  • Duration: Students will get 3 hours to solve the question paper.

INI SS:

  • Exam Mode: Examination will be held through online (computer-based) mode.
  • Questions Type: The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the question paper.
  • Number of questions: Question paper will consist of 80 questions.
  • Medium: Question paper will be in English medium language.
  • Time Duration: 1 hour 30 min (90 minutes) will be given to candidates to solve the question paper.
  • Total marks: Question paper will be of 80 marks.
  • Marking scheme: Each correct answer will consists of 1 mark, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

AIIMS PG 2026 Syllabus

The AIIMS PG Syllabus entrance test will consist of the topics related to all the subjects studied at MBBS level. For MDS course, the syllabus of entrance test will cover the topics related to the subjects studied at BDS level.

AIIMS PG 2026 Exam will contain questions from MBBS level syllabus which will contain subjects from three phases – Para-clinical, pre-clinical and clinical phase.
