JIPMER PG 2026: Result (Soon), Merit List (Out), Cut Off, Counselling

JIPMER admission to all the courses is entrance exam-based. The institute accepts national-level entrance exams such as NEET, INI CET, etc. for admission to specific courses. JIPMER also conducts its very own entrance exams for admission to several courses. All the entrance exams are conducted in the English language only. Admission to all JIPMER (UG, PG, and certificate) is entirely entrance-based. Eligible candidates can register online by visiting the official website of the University.

JIPMER PG 2026 Result

The result of INI CET will be declared on 16th November 2026 for January session and third week of May 2026 for July Session. The JIPMER PG Result2026 will be availed by candidates through online mode. Applicants will have to visit the website of authority to check the result. 

To access the result, candidates will need to enter their login details like application number and password on the online portal. The authority will announce  the result of INI SS on second week of May 2026 for July Session.

Candidates will have to enter their login details like application form number and password in the online portal to download the admit card. It will be the most important document to carry on the day of examination. The authority will not allowed the candidates to sit in the examination hall without having a valid hardcopy of the JIPMER PG 2024 admit card.

JIPMER PG 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates can know the JIPMER PG 2026 Exam Pattern of INI CET & INI SS below:

INI CET (MD/ MS):

  • Mode of Exam: Through online (computer-based) mode, the exam will be conducted.
  • Duration: 3 hours will be given to the candidates to solve the exam.
  • Type of Questions: The Multiple- Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
  • Medium: The exam will be available in English language only.
  • Number of Questions: Total 200 questions will be there in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

    How to fill JIPMER PG Application Form?

    Aspirants can apply by following the simple steps given below:

    Step 1: Registration

    • Visit the official website of JIPMER and click on ‘Apply Online for DM/ MCH’. The registration form will appear.
    • Enter personal details like name and date of birth and contact details- mobile number and email ID. Click on ‘Register’ after carefully filling up this page.
    • Students will receive an email having their User ID and Password on their registered email ID. Login using these credentials and edit these details if you want to.

    Step 2: Fill JIPMER PG Application form

    • Once logged in, the application form will appear.
    • Aspirants will have to enter personal and qualification details. They must choose their preferred exam city and upload scanned images of their recent photograph and signature.
    • Click on ‘Preview’ to view the form and make any changes if necessary.
    • After checking the details, click on ‘Submit’ after which no modifications can be made to the form.

    Step 3: Pay JIPMER PG Application Fees

    • The final step is to pay the requisite application fees. Application fees can be remitted only via the online mode.
    • Candidates can pay the fees using Credit/ Debit card and Net banking.
    • Enter the necessary payment details on the bank page that appears and save the receipt of the online transaction as proof of payment.
    • Upon successful transaction, aspirants must take a print out of the confirmation page for future correspondence.

    Application Form fee can only be paid through online mode. Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking for transaction of Application fee:

JIPMER MBBS 2026 Syllabus

The JIPMER PG Syllabus 2026 for INI CET or INI SS will be similar to topics studied during the MBBS degree or MD/MD or DNB degree. Candidates will have to study questions from General/ Basic component of qualifying examination and from subspecialty/ systems/ component of the specialty/ course for which the examination will be conducted.

For admission to DM/ M.Ch in JIPMER, the syllabus will be asked from INI SS only. There will be various topics & questions from General/ Basic component of the qualifying educational qualification and from the sub-speciality/ system/ component of the speciality course.
